Natural Factors — Berberine LipoMicel® Matrix (450 mg)

Why we like it. This is the berberine formulation we recommend because it stays closest to the published evidence — nearly all oncology and mechanistic studies use berberine hydrochloride (HCl), not newer derivatives. Natural Factors pairs berberine HCl with its LipoMicel® Matrix delivery system, designed to improve absorption over conventional capsules while keeping the form used in the literature. No enhanced formulation has yet shown superior cancer-related outcomes in humans, but Natural Factors also has a strong reputation for cGMP-certified manufacturing and rigorous testing.

What the manufacturer says. Natural Factors describes Berberine LipoMicel® Matrix as combining 450 mg of berberine HCl with its LipoMicel® delivery technology for enhanced absorption, supporting healthy glucose metabolism, insulin function, cardiovascular health, and metabolic wellness. It's manufactured without artificial colours, preservatives, or common allergens. Suggested adult dose: one softgel daily with food, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

MCS Formulas — Ultra-TQ Black Cumin (65 mg Thymoquinone)

Why we like it. This is the thymoquinone product we recommend for its unusually high, clearly declared potency — far more defined than ordinary black seed oils, where thymoquinone content varies and is often undeclared. That standardization makes dosing consistent and avoids the large oil volume needed for an equivalent amount. No human pharmacokinetic study has confirmed the systemic exposure this specific product produces, and high potency isn't evidence of better cancer-related outcomes — we chose it for transparency and formulation consistency, not clinical testing in oncology.

What the manufacturer says. MCS Formulas describes Ultra-TQ as a high-strength Nigella sativa extract standardized to at least 20% thymoquinone (65 mg per capsule) — about ten times the concentration of conventional black cumin oil. Recommended dose: one capsule daily after a substantial meal. Capsules are vegan and free of GMOs, gluten, wheat, dairy, and common allergens; raw materials are tested by external laboratories including Eurofins.

Nootropics Depot — Boswellia Phytosome (Casperome®, 350 mg)

Why we like it. We selected Nootropics Depot's Boswellia Phytosome because it uses Indena's branded Casperome® formulation rather than a generic Boswellia extract. Each 350 mg capsule supplies a phospholipid complex standardised to 25% full-spectrum triterpenoid acids and includes all 11 boswellic acids. Casperome® also has human pharmacokinetic evidence showing substantially greater absorption than non-formulated Boswellia extract.

What the manufacturer says. Nootropics Depot states that its products are made in cGMP-certified, FDA-registered US facilities and tested by ISO-accredited third-party laboratories. It also publishes batch-specific certificates of analysis, allowing customers to match the lot number on the bottle to its corresponding test report.

Pure Encapsulations — Hemp CBD VESIsorb®

Why we like it. This is one of the better-formulated retail CBD options we found — it addresses CBD's biggest practical weakness: inconsistent oral absorption. A randomized crossover trial found this VESIsorb® delivery system produced meaningfully higher, faster absorption than standard MCT-oil CBD. That doesn't establish anticancer efficacy, but it makes the retail dose more pharmacokinetically credible. The product is THC-free, CO₂-extracted, and batch-tested; Pure Encapsulations holds NSF-GMP registration and accredited-lab testing, giving us more confidence than many CBD brands offer.

What the manufacturer says. Pure Encapsulations describes Hemp CBD VESIsorb® as a broad-spectrum hemp extract using its patented VESIsorb® colloidal system for enhanced absorption versus standard MCT-oil CBD. Each softgel contains 25 mg of CBD from U.S.-grown hemp plus beta-caryophyllene and other phytocannabinoids and terpenes, and is effectively THC-free. Suggested use: one softgel daily, with or between meals. The manufacturer advises against use during pregnancy, lactation, or liver disease, and recommends professional review for anyone on medication.

Lazarus Naturals — High Potency CBG Tincture (300 mg/ml)

Why we like it. We selected Lazarus Naturals' High Potency CBG Tincture because it provides a clearly defined 300 mg of CBG isolate per ml in a simple MCT-oil base, without additional cannabinoids, terpenes or flavourings. The graduated dropper permits dosing in 75 mg increments, while the unusually high concentration avoids the impractical volume required by weaker tinctures. It is not an enhanced-bioavailability formulation; we chose it for dose transparency and quality control, not evidence of superior absorption.

What the manufacturer says. Lazarus Naturals grows its hemp in-house in Oregon and controls production from cultivation through finished product. Each batch undergoes independent testing by an accredited third-party laboratory for cannabinoid potency and contaminants, including pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents and microbes, with batch-specific certificates of analysis published online. The company also states that its manufacturing facility is cGMP compliant.

Natural Factors — CurcuminRich® Theracurmin® (30 mg)

Why we like it. This is the curcumin formulation we recommend for the strongest balance of scientific credibility, formulation quality, and clinical relevance. Theracurmin is the only enhanced-curcumin formulation evaluated pharmacokinetically in cancer patients, not just healthy volunteers. No oral curcumin formulation reaches the tumour concentrations used in most lab studies, but Theracurmin® produces substantially higher systemic exposure than conventional curcumin and remains among the best-characterised options available. Natural Factors also has a long history of cGMP-certified manufacturing with rigorous in-house testing.

What the manufacturer says. Natural Factors describes CurcuminRich® Theracurmin® as using proprietary particle-dispersion technology to dramatically improve absorption over conventional curcumin extracts, supporting a healthy inflammatory response, antioxidant defence, cardiovascular health, and normal muscle and joint function. Each vegetarian capsule contains 30 mg of curcumin as Theracurmin®, free of gluten, dairy, soy, GMOs, and common allergens. Suggested adult dose: one capsule up to twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Life Extension — Mega Green Tea Extract, Decaffeinated (725 mg)

Why we like it. We selected Life Extension's Decaffeinated Mega Green Tea Extract because it clearly discloses both extract strength and EGCG content: each capsule provides 725 mg of green tea extract standardised to 98% polyphenols and 45% EGCG — just over 325 mg EGCG — with no meaningful caffeine load. This offers a defined, moderate single-capsule dose rather than an unspecified catechin blend. The important caveat is that the label recommends taking it without food, whereas concentrated EGCG is generally better taken with food because fasting increases exposure, tolerability and liver-safety concerns.

What the manufacturer says. Life Extension is NSF GMP-registered and states that it tests raw materials and finished products for identity, purity, potency and contaminants. Product-specific certificates of analysis are available from customer service on request.

MCS Formulas — Luteolin Pro Liposomal (≈130 mg)

Why we like it. This is the luteolin product we recommend for combining a high, clearly declared dose with a delivery system built around luteolin's main limitation: poor oral bioavailability. It's combined with sunflower phospholipids and mushroom-derived chitosan in a pro-liposomal formulation meant to improve absorption over unformulated luteolin powder — aligned with animal evidence that phospholipid-based delivery can substantially boost luteolin exposure. This hasn't been tested in a human PK trial. We chose it for its transparent, high content and batch-level testing, not clinical oncology testing.

What the manufacturer says. MCS Formulas describes Luteolin Pro Liposomal as a high-strength Sophora japonica extract standardized to at least 80% luteolin (150 mg per capsule), combined with sunflower phospholipids and mushroom-derived chitosan. Independent Eurofins testing measured the current batch at 86.9% luteolin, about 130 mg per capsule. Recommended dose: one capsule daily with a meal. Capsules are vegan and free of GMOs, gluten, dairy, and common allergens; manufactured in the Netherlands with no added fillers.
